British Columbia, Canada mini tour

We took the Black Ball Ferry from Port Angeles, WA to Victoria, BC.  It was a tight fit, since the ferry is smaller than the BC Ferries that run from Vancouver to Victoria, but we made a reservation to ensure we got a spot on the ship. Our final stop in Washington on this leg was at Elwha Dam RV park, a great wonderful, family run RV park outside of Port Angeles, WA.  We lkucked out and got to see a car show when we went into town, and then took a trip into Olympic National Park.  We also stocked up on food and fuel and headed to the Black Ball Ferry to take it over to Victoria, British Columbia.  Olympic National Park is not as developed…

With our repairs complete we were off to Portland to see family, as my older brother Dean and his family that lives in Beaverton, OR.  We had a nice visit and dinner, with Lindsay, his wife, and two of the three kids, Kate and Jennifer, along with Jennifer’s husband, Patrick, and their beautiful daughter Charlotte. After our RV repair we headed a little north to the Newport, Oregon area.  Our first night was at a nice State Beach, South Beach State Park.  Nice place with a nice beach nearby.  It was a busy place and was filling up due to the upcoming 4th of July weekend.
