After a fun filled visit with family in Jacksonville, we headed west to Pensacola Beach. There is a nearby National Park, called Gulf Shores National Seashore, which has a great Campground right on the Ocean on a narrow barrier island. Talk about quiet and remote, from the entrance station it was about 8 miles to the campground. We have officially reached one year on the Road in our RV. It is amazing how fast it as gone. We have spent the last month in Harrisonburg, VA, visiting a close Navy friend who has a farm a little south of Harrisonburg and spending time with our daughter and her husband who recently bought a house in downtown Harrisonburg. One of things you have to be flexible on is your plans, things are going to happen around you with family and friends that you want to try and help out.
