computers…have to love and hate them at the same time
I was spending some time working to add a few parts to the web site, I added a map feature, worked on some countdown timers and then decided to add a tweek to the contact lists. It was supposed to just allow me as the admin to collect in one place all the web feedback, but somehow it also at the same time decided to send out notifications and putting in dead links. Once I saw what it did, I removed the offending code but I expect you all thought I must have been posting like crazy because you were getting all these notifications, but even as excited you were to see the latest and greatest news from me, you needed up with links to nowhere….sorry about that, computer 1, klingon 0 today I guess.

Lol…figured something would come thru sooner or later. 😉
Jon, while we are on the subject of computers I have a question. Given that you are in IT I wondered if you have found a solution for Internet access while in the Rv. I personally watch a bit of YouTube and would find it hard to give up my high speed access. I would love to get your thouhts.
Well, there is not an easy answer, and I do have to worry about it. I still have a grandfathered unlimited plan from ATT, but that is only for the phones, no hot spot use so I can stream stuff to the phone and them use something like airlay to put it on the TV. We will have satellite TV with a DVR to record stuff so that should work, the biggest issue will be internet access. Most of the Data Plans are expensive and have caps, so I still plan to keep my unlimited plan as long as I can. There is good info at this site, but again no easy answer. https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/overview Hope this helps.
What about getting satellite wi-fi? Ford has it in there newer cars now….
I’d should test with you here. Which isn’t something I often do! I enjoy studying a submit that will make individuals think. Also, thanks for permitting me to remark!
Hi, Jon, just discovered your site. Good stuff!
If you haven’t already done so, take a look at the Tiffin RV blog at http://www.tiffinrvnetwork.com/forum/index.php it’s a treasure trove of Tiffin RVing information. It’s chock full of ideas on boosting cell signals, coach WIFI and lots of other really good ideas.
Congratulations on your impending retirement! I know you’ll enjoy it in a new Tiffin!
I thank you for your service!
Safe travels…
Thanks, that site is how I decided on a Tiffin and my idea list keeps growing….
