Driveway Lake Oroville

Driveway Lake Oroville

After my brothers place in Concord, we traveled north to his getaway at Lake Oroville, California.  He has vacation home with another amazing, flat driveway with enough space for me to squeeze my RV into it, hook up to both electrical, water and with a long extension, the sewer.  Nice to be with family with a great spot near the lake with all the comforts of home.  It just does not get better than this.  We are going to spend the rest of May here and then go south to Yosemite.  So here are a few pictures of our location and some of the Lake.  He has a nice pontoon boat so spend quality time on the Lake.  We also got to host Jan and Carl from Pittsburgh, who were traveling out this way and visiting family.  We were able to meet up at the house here in Lake Oroville and get caught up, which was fantastic and we made some plans to get together again soon.  Also, a visit would not be complete without helping get a few projects complete that David asked for help on.

Hooked up and ready to go…

Driveway camping at its best

We did some sightseeing, in Oroville, they were having a spring festival, with an excellent car show.

View of the Lake from right down the street…

A lot of the local wildlife stopped by to see what is good to eat in the backyard…

Also, the Jeep was riding really rough on the road and looking at the tires, they were showing signs of dry rot and tire wear,  since I bought it used I was unsure of how long the tires were on it. I suspect they have several years of use so I decided to replace them with a new set.  What a difference in ride and noise.

More Lake time and reset, getting the RV ready for our move onto the next segments of our trip, stay tuned.
