After our RV repair we headed a little north to the Newport, Oregon area.  Our first night was at a nice State Beach, South Beach State Park.  Nice place with a nice beach nearby.  It was a busy place and was filling up due to the upcoming 4th of July weekend.

I messed up when I was moving reservations due to our breakdown and mistakenly cancelled our stay at South Beach so we needed to find another place to stay over the holiday weekend.  I found Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort.  The name says it all, on the coast, just for motorcoaches (no 5th wheels, no trailers) and it was a resort.  Owners rent out their spaces when they are not using them.  Is was more expensive than the State Beach but offered a clubhouse and pools.  A very nice place with plenty of grass for the girls to run and play in, a nearby beach and walking paths.  We had a nice stay, the people were very friendly, a lot of similar motorhomes, they place was immaculate, great care taken with the landscaping.

We leave today to go to Beaverton, Oregon to see my older brother and hopefully a nephew before we head into Washington State.
